Statues on Fire from #brasil has been touring Europe for 11 years and has established itself as one of
the best punk and hardcore bands in the country.
The 2020-2021-2022 tours scheduled with the band’s participation in major European
festivals had to be postponed to 2023 due to the complications of the Covid-19 pandemic in
the world, the band returned in 2023 with the release of the new album „IV“ with 11 shows in
11 days, with a good audience in all concerts.
Speaking of new records, the band has just released the album „IV“, produced by Nobru
Bueno (Carol Cabrino, Dinho Ouro Preto, Hateen), recorded at Rising Power Estudios and
Nobru Bueno Estudios, in which the band addresses the dark times of recent years, whether
with the Covid-19 pandemic, the use of faith to corrupt Christian values, the philosophy of war
implanted in the minds of millions to generate conflict among the people. Not to mention the
shameless use of politics and the public machine to benefit individuals or just a small group in
society.
Their debut album „Phoenix“ won the award for best album of the year by the specialized
media in 2014.
